The expensive I smoke a regular basis is probably the regular Padron 1926 line. The 80ths are just to expensive to go through on a normal basis, however if you can find em at a good price, they are hard to pass up. If not the Padron, probably the Anejo. I wish I could smoke these every single...
The unfortunately thing about business is price is often dictated by "What will you pay", not "What should I charge you".
As said, if they are to high, simply shop elsewhere. He's not going to change his prices just because a customer complains about them. He will eventually change his prices...
Cool. My impression coming to this forum from things you hear is that rules are a real stickler. Seems to be a lot more relaxed than I had thought. I'm never to concerned about the specifics, as long as at the end of reading I feel the person liked it or didn't.. that's the important part.
Had a Savinelli Nic Reserve this morning on the drive into work.. was sent to me in a PIF. Not that good, but not terrible. I wouldn't buy it, but if I was given another I'd probably save it for mowing the lawn.
Great review, thank you!
I've got 10 coming from a split I put together on another forum. For anyone interested Marvin still has about 50 of these boxes.. (although don't go nuts, if I like it I might get another box for myself! haha)
If anyone has gotten them from this place, could you let me know where you found them on the site.. soooo many bags. I think I'm going to have a brain anuerysm.
My connection to him is that his home forum is my home forum (CigarOutcasts). I posted my thread there and he recommended I post on ICC due to the heavy number of cuban smokers.
Any more questions that have nothing to do with this thread?
La Corona was also a brand which existed from the late 1800's until the 1970s (believe) when it was discontinued. It was brought back for about a decade as a machine rolled, but didn't last.
I considered that, but I don't feel it will ever be sold.. so the value is more for the family value and being as I'm a 3rd (or likely more) generation cigar smoker, that's the bond. I'm hoping it still holds a good seal (as you can see in the first picture, the sides still get extremely tight...
I have been considering it .. I've only had it in the house for about 2 or 3 weeks now, but with the top and bottom door lock in place on the left door, and the key lock turned to close up the right door, the seal is still incredibly tight on the edges. I think it will still hold VERY well. If...
Mods, if you feel this should be in Humidors, feel free to move it. Being as it's from Cuba, I thought it appropriate to place it here.
My parents brought this to me as a Housewarming gift this past month. It was given to my father by his father. His father brought it back from Jamaica in the...
Pretty much what Gawl said. I have a puck in my LGC box, however given that it has two cutouts for rectangular humidifiers, I may get some empty ones to convert to bead holders. It's really about what works best for what you have.
Out of curiousity, what are the inside dimensions of the box?
Would these pictures, that I cleverly saved when I saw that he was banned, the pictures you were referring to?

It really depends on your tastes and sometimes even what you smoke. I tend to smoke a lot of things that seem to taste better and draw better at 65% so that is what I chose to go with.
Anything between 65 and 70 should be fine. 70 is the most common and is a good failsafe. If you find you...
I apologize if I offended anyone with my involvement in this thread. The situation was a heated one and being that smokinj's most used forum is my most used forum, it struck a nerve with me (and others from my board). I allowed myself to get to involved from an emotional standpoint of...
