what you are telling us newbies, is to become total 'post whores', and starting making posts that aren't necessary or meaningful, just to make the 'vets' happy. In my opinion, you shouldn't base this on number of posts. There may be weeks where I check in every day, but don't respond to any...
just another idea to throw out there...
I did this at my old house, and will do it again...
I'm finishing my basement, and next to the bar I'm going to build some cabinets to store dishes, etc. One extra cabinet will be for, you guessed it...cigars. All you have to do is seal the inside...
to find a local store with spanish cedar, you need to look for a 'hardwood' store. Just a local hardware store wouldn't normally have it. Most cities have a specialty store for woodworkers. These stores have an assortment of hardwoods, and specialty woods like...spanish cedar. I live in the...
congrats on the kid! We had a daughter a couple of years ago, and the name we agreed on...Ashton! Guess what I bought a box of to hand out at the hospital...
I have an opinion on this. The first time I engaged in any trading or passing was a Pay It Forward type of pass. I read the guidelines that stated to send 3-4 smokes to someone, and ask them to Pay It Forward (PIF). I picked out 3 decent quality smokes that have been in my humi for a few...

Usually when I smoke, I either drink water, or bourbon.

I almost forgot to mention that. Make sure the inside is 'odor free', and clean. Worst thing is to have something on the inside of it, and have a box get stuck...
my favorite 'cheap' smoke is Hoja Cubana Yellow Label. I'm a corona man, and that just happens to be the least expensive size also. If you haven't tried this one yet, it is a HUGE bargain at the $2-$3/stick that you normally pay for it.
I like to use the styrofoam coolers myself. They are much cheaper, and they seal tighter...especially if you find one with an overlocking lid. I have a few scraps of spanish cedar from a cabinet that I turned into a humidor at my old house. I throw a piece or two in there, and it keeps a nice...
Hello all. This winter, I hope to take part in a few passes, so I thought I would introduce myself now. My name is Derek, and I live just west of St. Louis, in Wentzville, MO. I'm a true Hoosier though, being orig. from Indiana. I grew up in Evansville, IN, where Don Mattingly lives. Due to...
