I used to steal cigars all the time. Had quite a collection.
Not sure why an eight year old thought tiparillos and tijuana smalls were tasty sticks. :)
Wait a minute!! This is tremendous news!
Azucar's lounge is super nice. The gentlemen there were also very gracious and entertaining. Great cigar selection, reasonable pricing by Cali B&M standards, good beer pricing....
I'll pass on the shaves, but expect me back soon, LOL!
Thanks very much gents, both of those look awesome - if a wee bit costly. The convenience of the smokeshack product is compelling.
Based on my past experience the offset smoker/grills need frequent tending, and there is a bit of a learning curve involved.
I had a New Braunfels offset smoker/grill for many years but got rid of it a while back. I'm thinking a smaller vertical smoker would be the best thing to replace it with. I'm also guessing purists and connoisseurs, such as the gentlemen on this board, would favor the wood burning types, no...
I'll go in this order:

Weller Centennial 10 yr old (tasted blind it kicked ass over a bunch of others, IMO)
Blantons (never bought a bottle, just had a few here and there)
Ridgemont Reserve, Eagle Rare, bunch of others depending on...

The obvious downside to smoking fewer cigars is that you find yourself smoking a cigar less frequently. And, maybe some tasty monster smokes are a little less accessible.
My tongue, my wallet and my wife all appreciate the move to quality over quantity. Speaking of tongue and wife, I think...
my local store has the Xmas ale at $5/four pack.
I tried one and found it to be pretty nice, albeit simple for a beer of this type. Pretty clean malt flavor for a Belgian, the yeast not one of those major ester producers apparently. Caramel and a touch of sweet citrus, with a long, clean...
Man, there always seems to be some great deal I don't want to pass up. When it comes to cigars I'm like a chick at the mall during the after Xmas sales.
1). I have been smoking some really nice stuff without being too concerned about the price.
2). The wife isn't such a nag anymore.
3). Some of the lighter, more subtle cigars are tasting mighty fine. Recent HdM and an HU were unbelievably good, memorable smokes.
4.) I may actually be able to...
