Never store flavored cigars with your regular smokes regardless of what they're in. If you like flavored cigars, then by all means smoke them....you just won't find many fans on here. Check out the newbie sampler thread like we've suggested. I've done it twice. It's THE best bang for your buck...
I'd build a tuperdor and do the newbie sampler trade. You'd still have around 125 bucks left over and have a better selection of sticks. The thing I had to learn early on was to never buy a box of anything until you've tried it and know you'll like it. So, just my 2 cents worth, but smoke...
I'd love to get in on this if there's a spot available. Looks like a great experience. Plus, it would be a great way to learn and be a part of this great group of folks.
Thanks to some kind BOTL's, my list is fairly short now. Thanks to all that's helped with some of my wants :) You guys rock...
Any Tatuaje (Only been fortunate enough to try the Frank and Black)

You need to remove the other water source. My guess is that the beads are saturated to 100 percent. Some of the beads need to be white in color. I try to keep a quarter of them white and the others clear. Your beads are saturated and can't pull moisture. Take some of the baeds out and let them...
In my limited experience with Tats, I find them to burn better and have less problems with plugged sticks if I keep them at 60% RH with my ISOM's. It's the only non-ISOM brand I keep at 60. I also dry-box all my Tats the night before if I can. And..great review...the Blacks are one fine smoke...
I looked back on my Debit card and I ordered the Montes and the R&J's 7 weeks ago. So, when they said 6-8 weeks, they weren't kidding. Hopefully, our R&J's will make their way this week. BTW, the Monte Classics are a very nice looking stick. Haven't burned one yet, but they're put together nicely.
Northernmorris, Give the R&J's a little time. My Macs came in about a week or less. The R&J's say to wait 6-8 weeks. I ordered the R&J sampler and the Montecristo sampler the same day. The Monte's came today and the R&J's have yet to show up. I bet they show up too in a week or so. Are the...
A couple of mine have that indentation from the ribbon as well. One is actually bent at maybe a 15 degree angle because of it. Smoked fine...all cosmetic.
A few friends and myself are starting a monthly HERF. We're all used to this, and want to make the best of the situation. I'm just posting and asking for HERF ideas. What do you guys do during some of your favorite HERF's? I've had a couple of suggestions from some of my fellow BOTL such as...
So....I burned my second stick of the Tat Franks tonight. I've given several of these away, so what few I have left will sit in the humi to age a bit. I will say that they smoke incredible, even "wet" as Pete says he packed them. I actually smoked 3 fantastic sticks today including a ISOM Monte...
A few I've bought recently and liked...
H Upman Mag 46's
Monte #2's (Classic)
Cohiba Robusto and Singlo IV's
El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme
The best ISOM advice I got was "smoke 'em all".
OK, from what I understand there are two numbering systems. One is the earlier one where the number is stamped with a 0000 followed by the box number. From Pete's email, it seems like this worked fine until he started using a glossier label, which made the stamp smear. From then on he wrote the...
Hey everyone...Just to clear this all up...here's a cut and paste from an email that Pete himself sent me about the numbering of the Frank boxes. It's nice to have it right from the man's mouth. Pete's one class act for answering my email. Hope this clears this all up...
Hey Brother,
Yeah, the...
