I hooked up with Davela and had a nice mini-herf at a local bar as well as doing a little pass play. I had to rebox the pass. The original box got kind of damp sitting in the rain on my front steps. BTW, I don't think you can get another stoge in the container. :)
Thanks to wpeloqui...
Excellent suggestions. I was planning to go with the PAN sampler for the next one. Don set one aside for us. However, any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
To be honest, I'm not sure. I know one had a cedar wrap with black band on the foot. I'm confused about all the different AF's. Plus, I'm horrible at remembering exactly what I smoke. That's why I'm always impressed with your reviews. My brain usually just says, "Mmmmm... cigar... good." :)
No, you don't have to change numbers. However, if your number comes up next time you still get the prize, but you have to send everyone else a stoge. :D Kind of like rolling doubles three times in a row in Monopoly. :)
I've been reading all the love for AF on this board for some time and have been skeptical. Maybe it was because I've never had an AF that I really liked. My first experience with AF was downright bad. Anyway, I had a couple of different AF sticks over the weekend and I have to admit that...
I love Gurkhas. They're great smokes (very flavorful), albeit a little overpriced in shops. The only one I'm not that happy with is the Master Select #3. It's a small perfecto and they tend to have a very tight draw.
It's true. I can't believe it! Davela wins... again! Dave, you must be livin' right. Congrats. :p Don will just hit everybody's cards who played last time. Geldor1 is the only person who needs to contact SmokeAll with his info. Thanks everybody.
I'm impressed. I really didn't think that the last several inches would be tolerable to smoke. You are a brave man. Excellent story telling along with the great photos.
I'm reluctant to just play for store credit. To me, it's like getting a gift certificate. I'd rather get a decent present. It's a minimal investment to get what I think are relatively interesting cigars. As for discounts, Don is already knocking a little off the retail prices for us and...
Good suggestion. I wouldn't mind getting some naturals. Other ideas I'm looking at are Cohiba XV, Joya De Nicaragua Antano, and LGC.
Just talked to Don and the PAMs are a nogo due to the one stoge that is made just for the sampler. He's put aside a PAN for us if we want that for next time...
