Cool, thanks for the input guys. Like I said, I ordered a nice sampler from Silo and will try out a bunch of different sizes over the next month or two. I'll probably take notes and start a new thread with a vertical tasting review when I'm done. :thumbs:

But I agree, best thing will be for me to get a sampler of a few different vitolas and try them out first. There are some I'm not interested in (bigger sizes) but the ~888~, MK, and CG4 are probably at the top of my list right now.

I know there are a couple threads where links to reviews on the Illusione CG4 were posted and those reviews were pretty positive. I've never had an Illusione cigar and am contemplating getting a box of something, but I'm not decided on which vitola yet.

I've been writing dates on cello for years (as have many others) and I've never had a problem. I do use the thinnest Sharpie though, not the big thick ones.
Another thing to consider is buying blank bands that you can write on or place a label over. For example, I've started using blank...
