I've been finding this very interesting and a bit educational as well. BUT.....I still can't get the Russian Roulette scenes with Chris Walken from The Deer Hunter out of my head. You may want to quit while your still ahead! ;)
Started the day with a Torano Signature, not bad but nothing to write home about. But for $3.00 a pop I'll live with it.
Early afternoon Tatujae Lancero. Not bad but nowhere near as tasty as the Regios.
Early evening watched the "Derby" with a Ashton VSG. Pretty nice smoke! Smooth and slightly...
I've smoked the Gordita and the Hermosa's and found them to be quite good. Just make sure you get ahold of the darkest ones out of the box for the best taste!
Wal Mart, K Mart any of those places will have the Marine Coolers. Just go to they're sporting goods department to get it.
The wire shelving I bought I had to cut to size myself. Not a big deal if you happen to have bolt cutters, a dremel tool or the like. I used the latter and was done in...
Like Wilkey said, you'll need to have a Marine Cooler which has the slots in it already. Then you can go to Lowe's or whatever compairable hardware store you have in your area, and buy some wire shelving. Cost me roughly $6.30 for 6' and I only ended up using about 1/2 of it!
Nice review. Not a preferred cigar of mine, then again I've only smoked 1 and that was about a year ago. A friend at the cigar shop I frequent gave me one last week. Maybe trying it again will change my mind.
Great review. I have 2 of these in my humi calling my name. Maybe this weekend to celebrate the completion of my coolerdor! ;) That's as good an excuse as any!
Thanks for the report on the box Gonz! I really need to pick one of those up for myself. Show season is right around the corner for me and the 5ct otter box I have just won't do for a 5 day trip! But the 24 sounds just right!
I have a 3 left over boxes and spanish cedar courtesy of Gandolf and CigarAnon from my coolerdor project. Send me your snail mail and I'll ship em off to ya!
Well I finished lining the top, bottom and back walls of the cooler with spanish cedar (Thanks Gandolf and CigarAnon)
2 Shelfs were cut out of wire shelf from Lowe's
Viper Beads are resting and doing their job inside 2 holders I made out of thin tupperware tubs (Thanks Viper for the Bead hook...
Going by the pics, I had that happen to a Magic Mountian cap that was barely touching a round creedo in my one humi. I brushed it off, dryboxed it for 2 days and smoked it. There wasn't a problem or difference in the taste at all.Granted I'm talking about a cigar that was stashed away for maybe...
I picked up one last nite at our poker game. A wee bit pricey IMHO, it cost me $18.00 but considering that I won the mini tourn it wasn't that big a deal. Glad to see I made a decent choice.
I'm in the last phase of finsihing up my coolerdor. All I need to do is attach the spanish cedar to the inside walls of the coolerdor. I'm going to be using the thin sheets that come inside cigar boxes for the walls and the thicker cedar that the boxes are made out of for the bottom and top...
