I smoked one of the Partagas Black "Magnificos," Sunday and I didn't find it nearly as over-powering as the first ones that were released. Strength was about medium+. The cigar has a good mixture of flavors. Not my favorite cigar, but not bad either.

From "Cigar Insider"
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Cigars
"The smoke is thick and heavy, with lots of spice and coffee flavors, notes of pepper and earth, good balance. Medium bodied, with toasty notes and a soft finish." Torano Exodus were rated 87-89 by Cigar Insider, and classified a best buy...
I've never been in a reverse-ratio pass before, although I have been in several passes and had a couple of my own.
I'll send you my contact info by CP messenger.

Hey Matt, when's the next installment, and can I get in next time?
I vote for Montecristo #2s with a dark colorado wrapper for the next go round. I've had some experience with these and I know what a good one tastes like...they're great.
My second choice would be a Sir Winston or Punch...
So it's AGE, huh?
I've read on CW where most of those guys swear the cabs are much better. Older cigars would be better in general, I guess, if that's the difference.
I emailed Mo in England on this subject, but I never got an answer to my email. (Maybe it's a stupid question...I don't...
Thanks for the offer Joe, but I'm going to buy a box of these from the shop where I got the previous stick.
Best cigar that I've had in some time...and I smoke a different cigar brand almost every time I light up. This was an exceptionally good cigar.
Thanks again.

First and foremost, whatever Devin, MattR, or Shadow tells you regarding cigars...you can take to the bank.
I've never had a problem with 65% humidity personally, but I like to keep humidity around 70% minimum for long term storage.
Some of these guys keep a "dry" box to house the cigars...
Why do most experienced Isom smokers consider cigars from cabinets to be better than those from boxes?
What's the difference in the actual cigar, if any?
Isn't a cabinet cigar the same as those found in the dress boxes only times two? Yes. No.
Cabinets of 50 usually cost quite a bit more...
I finally got around to trying this cigar today, and what a pleasant surprise.
I second everything that Joe M. said about this cigar - it was really great. The Super Fuerte Maduro had about three or four flavor profiles going at the same time, which is something that I usually only find in GOOD...
I would like to see a picture of the long, black "Vietnam type" memorial wall that they have erected to honor all of the victims.
I hope to visit ground zero someday, but not now, the memory is still too fresh.

I smoked a Bolivar Belicosos Fino and cracked open a bottle of 1985 Heitz Martha's Vineyard California Cabernet with dinner. That bottle was the best of the best of the best from California. It was outstanding. I always said that bottle of wine was too expensive to drink...but I finally did it...
Several past issues of Cigar Aficionado have been dedicated to Cuba. Apparently the hotels are modernizing due to the volume of business travelers and tourists from Europe. Restaurants are lagging behind. The dollar is king.
I have read about visiting the cigar factories, seen pictures in the...
I've got about 3 or 4 bundles of Connies in the coolerdor, if the guy wants to get rid of all of his Cubans. Really well aged too. Even trade! LOL

Hookahs?
I think there is quite a few on Sunset Blvd. in L.A. There used to be a covey of them in Times Square, but Juliani got rid of most of them. Can't say as I've tried any hookahs. :p

I emphatize, sympathize, and rationalize with this thread.
Last weekend, I had filled in all the information to order a box of cigars online. I got right up to the point of clicking the button to pay...when I said to myself, "Self - do you really need any more cigars?" Realizing that I didn't...
