Just ordered the ebony 150 count. I saw this exact humidor at my B&M today and it was almost twice as much. Should be a nice humi for my overflow sticks. Already ordered some beads from Viper. :D
Smoking a Perdomo Habano Maduro robusto with a glass of Gentleman Jack. Very nice cigar, I'm a bit surprised at how flavorful it is. I like the Lot 23, but this one is a bit stronger with a nice finish. I will be buying a few more in the future.
CAO America Potamic this afternoon and a CI Legends Yellow Label (Don Pepin Garcia) while walking the dogs this evening. This was the first time I smoked the CI Yellow Label and for about $2.50 a pop, this is a great bargain smoke. Reminded me of the DPG blue label, but a bit milder. I picked up...
I am in the process of smoking another CAO America, the Potomac, and I must say that I do like these. It is on the milder side, but good for the morning or early afternoon. There are no real dominant flavors as some have pointed out, just good clean tobacco flavors. It is priced a tad higher...
Today was a good cigar day. Started out with an AF Don Carlos Robusto, had a DPG Invictos after lunch and finished with a San Cristobal Clasico and a few fingers of Gentleman Jack after dinner.
I agree. I recently smoked a chisel that had been sitting in my humi for well over a year and I found it to be a very smooth and flavorful smoke. You can definitely taste the strength, but not overpowering. But, on another note, did you mix the single barrel Jack with coke? If you have to add...
I just smoked the robusto size a few days ago. Nothing spectacular, but an enjoyable medium-bodied cigar. I will probably pick up a few more and see if they improve with some aging at a lower RH.
Although some may disagree, CAO makes some fine smokes. While the flavor profiles may not suit everyone's palate, I've never had a CAO that was plugged, poorly rolled or otherwise shoddy in construction. CAO cigars always have space in my humidor.
Smoked a Classico this afternoon, my second one. Very smooth, but with an underlying strength that kicks in at about the halfway point. Reminds me of a VSG a bit, but I find it more balanced and rounded. I wil smoke a few more, but I think I will be buying a box in the near future.
I'm weighing in late here, but as someone who works in the industry, Blu-ray is the format most supported by the studios and the industry for now. I can't say that it will always be the case, but my money is on Blu-ray.
I have an opportunity to relocate to the Topeka/Lawrence area and was looking for any thoughts or suggestions about the area. I really like downtown Lawrence , but I haven't had much chance to explore. I will be heading up there sometime in the next two weeks to do a tour of the area with a real...
