It's cool. Not a big deal but what's really cool is that you picked it up instead of getting a 24 pack of heinekin :sign:
Thanks. This sounds like something I'll need to make the effort to try.
Yup. I got two week old bottles of Blind Pig and it took another week to get to him. Was just curious why he waited another 4 days before drinking one.
With PtE and Blind Pig, there is not that much of a difference between fresh (1-2 weeks old) to 4-6 weeks old. But with Sculpin, around...
Nope....no Brooklyn or Captain Lawrence.
Good breweries that we need here in California: New Glarus, Dark Horse, Terrapin, Southern Tier, Founders, Bells, and Troegs.
Founders, Bells, and Southern Tier should be here. As far as I know, they are big enough breweries that we should get them...
Cody! No! You didn't wait til now to drink it did you? You lost some hops flavor buddy. LOL. Russian River IPA's, like most CA IPA's, lose their hop profile pretty fast.
Sweeter than ST Pumking? If so, I'll have to try and land one.
Agreed. Loved it. Just don't know if its worth the price differential to Alaskan Smoked Porter and Stone Smoked Porter. GD is great, and I can't wait for Chocolate Yeti to be release here. I think that one is totally worth the...
There has been a lot of ISO for beers lately so bumping this old trading thread.
ISO: Goose Island Vanilla, GI Rare, Cigar City Hunaphu.
FT: FW 13, FW 14 and Black Tuesday.
Yea..I was scared of that. Now I have to try to get a growler of this. Also need to try Bootlegger's Knuckle Sandwich, thats another hoppy beer I'm hearing good things about.
Beers I acquired in the past few weeks:
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2010
Bruery Black Tuesday
Bruery Premier
Bruery Rugbrod
Bruery Three French Hens
Bruery Loakal Red
Firestone Walker 14
Firestone Walker Velvet Merkin
Ballast Point Victory at Sea
Mikkeller Brunch Weasel
How did you like Pliny compared to Citra? Were you able to get some growlers of Citra?
Today drank ST Pumking. Its definitely sweeter than any other pumpkin ales and has this roasted flavor. I enjoyed it! One of my top pumpkin ales now just wish ST would distribute in California.
Parabola from the last release are all gone by now. They didn't sit on shelves very long. I'll try and pick you up some on the next release, but I've read on BA that they should be hitting the east coast as well as FW 14. Do they not distribute Firestone in your area at all?
