I'm still trying to get my hands on some Diplomatico Blanco. It is supposed to be a true sipping white rum. From my understanding, there have been some distribution problems, so it's not found in the US other than Florida.

Had myself some Johnnie Walker Gold. I wasn't all that impressed. I felt like I was chewing on a piece of wood.

    Templeton Rye

Binny's used to have it for sale. I'm not seeing it now. I would keep an eye on their website as they are located in Illinois.

Yep, good point, among other things, SS card, license etc. I believe everything you make copies of are also traceable to the copying machine.

    Some People Like Bad Beer

I spent a few days in Golden CO, a few years back. I thought I would be burned at the stake for asking for something other than Coors. Just remember however, a year old Molson's is still better than a day old Milwaukee's Best.

    Macallan Lalique 57

Indeed, however, I doubt most people that buy something of this nature partake in a drink. They buy it for the history. I enjoy cognac very much and im in the process of getting a bottle that was vinted in 1818. I'd never think of drinking it, but to think that it was around when the US was...

After years of trying The 1951 Balvenie Vintage Cask

    Want to get a smoker

When I have the room, I hope to buy something from Cookshack Cookshack Expensive, yes, but it's something I've always wanted. I've heard a lot of positives regarding the Weber Smokey Mountain. It's a bit more than you want to spend, however, it is a quality smoker that will last. You can get...

    Scotch Collection Complete

Ray, Do you have any recommendations for any bottles out there that might be worth picking up? Is it best to look at legacy bottles from distilleries no longer in operation (ie Port Ellen etc)? I know bottles are for drinking and enjoying, however, I'm talking about picking up an extra just...

Pick up a bottle of the Black Bowmore '64. I've always wondered if the quality should command the price.

Is the 12 widely available in the US (ie, an internet store etc)? I see the 16 is quite readily available.

REAL Bacon Cheese Burgers and a REAL Bacon Meatloaf

I do something similar, however, I cook the bacon first and then add to the ground beef. That way the burgers can still remain a bit pink on the inside.

    Gauging interest for limited Balvenies

I'm going to be heading east the end of the year. I wonder if I'd be able to find this in Japan.

    Maui Brewing Co.

Just picked up a few more of these today. The store clerk asked if I was interested in a case. The look my wife gave me made it pretty clear that I wasn't walking out of the store with a case. :(
