It's hard to say what I would have rated it blind . . . it's certainly not a bad smoke at all. Even though my expectations were high, I'd still smoke another one. It's a solid $8 smoke. There are better smokes out there for the same price or less, but that's almost always the case, isn't it?
Well,
My local B&M got a couple of boxes of these in this past weekend in a couple of different sizes. Robusto and Toro I believe. Anyways, there were several of us regulars there, so we decided to fire them up while watching some college hoops.
The toro and robusto tasted very similar so I'll...
I say smoke 2-3 of them. Of course, you might not remember smoking them the next morning, haha!
Congrats on turning 21! I turn 25 tomorrow . . . I'm going to be an old man.

My B&M just got these in today, so I'm going to go try it tomorrow in a couple of different sizes, hopefully they live up to the hype!
I smoked one this past weekend and thought it was very good! Took me about 2 hours to smoke it. Not sure if it's worth double the price of the Padron 3000 Maduro I smoked after it, but I'd definitely smoke a few more of them!

Also, along with what sonuvabum said about oxidation . . . the older the bottle of wine, the quicker the oxidation will happen, which means the wine won't last as long once opened. Learned this lesson the hard way, at the cost of about 1/3 of a bottle of a really nice 10 year old Bordeaux.
Now...
I was going to say . . . if they're smoked completely blind, then price couldn't factor in. And they said on their site that BHK is a great smoke now, but will be a lot better with some age, so perhaps the bhk won't be #1 this year, but next
I wondered the same thing. The Padron box press is hard to miss. And though I've never smoked a real ISOM, I'm told the distinct flavor of one is unmistakable from another smoke, say something from the Dominican Republic.
I was surprised to see the No.45 natural on there as well.
It's great to see some more affordable smokes in the top 10 so far this year though!
I'd say a BHK will be #1
