Using them for what?
Welcome to CP David!
Mild variety I can recommend is the Padron 2000 series. I find them to be very pleasing and cost conscience (my overprice LCS has them for $6).
It's good to take advice but as mentioned, everyones taste differs. One of my favorite smokes is the...
Yea, I think you're right. A month in and I've out grown the tiny humidor I just bought.
That's pretty slick. Did you make all those shelves yourself or buy them pre-cut like that?
1. What will my total score for 18 holes be at River Pines Golf Course from Tips? (Par 70, 6700 Yards) 78
2. How many Birdies will I make? 3
3. How many Fairways will I hit? (4 Par 3s) 10
4. How many Greens will I hit? 2
5. How many Putts will I use? 32
So, being such a nice day out on Sunday, I decided to try a new smoke. I wanted something with a full body so, based on looks alone I chose the Rocky Patel Renaissance in a Toro (6x52) from my LCS. $10.99 per stick, which is the most I've spent thus far.
Being my first review, I really wanted...
Ya know, I didn't really think about this. But, here's my observations so far.
My hygo has been reading around 63% for the past couple of days, despite the 70% beads I have in there. Feeling the cigars on the top shelf, they actually feel kind of dry. I was wondering if I didn't season my humi...
Or jack up the prices of their smokes a few (or more) cents each stick. I have no idea the volume some of these local shops go through, but that could be pricey even for high-volume dealers. I would guess my LCS sells ~100 cigars a day. That's 36,500 a year. So that would be nearly .50 a stick...
My dad just sent me that link the other week. That's some very impressive engineering indeed. Those aren't just some kites with legs, those are some pretty complicated pieces of machinery. Would be cool to let one loose our in the desert for a couple of weeks or months.
Those fees seem in line with what businesses pay for liquor licenses. Though I agree that they seem excessive and I'm not sure what the justification is.
Would be nice to smoke in the stores as long as they had a lounge area. I don't think standing there smoking in isles of cigars would make...
Well, hopefully I'll have the same experience. I found a place selling these for $63 for a box of 20 so I bit. A bit over $3 a piece shipped. Not bad, if I like them.....
I'll have to post back my thoughts on the smokes after I actually try one.
I would think taping a plank of wood (or something else solid) over it would work just fine. Wrap the wood in tape to get a nice seal. You just don't want to use something absorbent that will suck up all the moisture that's supposed to be going into the humidor wood.
I think I may have screwed up at some point, either in the humidor size selection or my reckless spending.....
I still have another box on it's way, along with two 5-pack samplers.... :whistling:
Top shelf, about a dozen varieties:
Bottom bin, box of Padrons, box of Bolivar Cofradia Belicoso...
