I would definitely say Cinco de Mayo is more of a border state thing. Living in one of the biggest Hispanic corridors in the U.S., Hispanic culture and tradition are a part of everyone's lives here. It is kind of like the St. Pats thing up North.

For some reason electronically tagging your children doesn't sound like a good idea to me. If you teenager is being too tough to handle, counseling maybe the best answer. In two more years the kid will be a legal adult and free to do what he wants, tagging him won't solve the problem.
My favorite visit is the Real Ale Brewery in Blanco, TX. The place is run by a bunch of hippies that like to have a good time. They kinda give me inspiration to start my own brewery later in life.
C-bid is a great source for everyday smokes. I have gotten gurkhas, toranos, and sherpas for $2 to $1 a smoke. But it has gotten a little overpopulous lately.
