Got this from a friend who is a history nut. I cannot vouch for it's accuracy, only it's relative entertainment value. :)
In the heyday of sailing ships, all war ships and many freighters carried
iron cannons. Those cannon fired round iron cannon balls.
It was necessary to keep a good...
Anyone know where I can get some custom or blank bands without having to buy a box cigars? My 25th class reunion is coming up this year and I thought it would be neat to do up some bands related to the event. I'd like to put them on some good smokes. No ISOM's, but at least something I know...
Sorry to say guys, but that's really not the answer. I know that CC86 and Michael, as well as a few others, have been exchanging emails on this subject. It doesn't do anyone any good to get into an internet p***ing match. I have faith that CC86 and the CPool admin will ultimately work this...
Yup... that's the idea. That way everybody knows exactly what they're getting and nobody can feel slighted if they don't get what they think is good enough. Plus, if you don't have any Padrons, it's an excuse to go to the local shop. :) BTW, the Connies are only for those who say that they'll...
We’re starting from scratch on this one. The first nine who respond are in. If there’s enough replies for another 10 people, we may start another group.

I've fallen in love with the LGC Series R's. They have such a great draw and it seems like you can blow out the smoke forever. My only wish for a change would be having longer cigar with 52 or smaller ring.
Besides the onslaught of one line posts, the guy used what I call geek/teen internet lingo in his postings. It was only a matter of time before he started bragging about his l33t mad bombing skillz. :D

I'm surprised about Ken Wortley. He's Smoke over on ASC. He sent me a great welcome bomb when I first got into my internet cigar addiction. :) BTW, just sent email to get on the list for another number.
I love the fact that you can get free boxes from the USPS. When I first started sending stoges through the mail I bought some boxes at the UPS Store for about $2 a piece. Add postage to that and you're not too far from the cost of using Priorty mail (free box and mail w/DC#). PLUS... you can...
I've been adding some very nice smokes to the humi thanks to the various folks who have seen fit to include me in their splits. I want to keep track of what's what so I've put each stoge in its own little baggie and labeled them. I've kept the bags unsealed so that there will be some air...
Got sticks today from Lumberg. Thanks.
My end of this lotto is closed. Thanks to everyone for providing a good selection of smokes
Oops... I meant to put this in #15. I'm pretty not bright. :)
