It almost has a "green" sweetness. This was the first cigar I've had that had some serious age on it. I think my box is May 01. Very enjoyable. I think it was the fact that these are discontinued that put me over the top on the purchase. Very good, but as you said, very close to the PP.

I don't really have any rockets, but I do have better smokes that I don't care for. These usually came from fivers from cbid or other places. Those go to moochers. A friend who is really interested in cigars, or already has tried a few gets a good cigar that I enjoy.

This is probably the best book on the subject available, IMHO. I'm a bit of a history nut as well. I just started Wherever Green is Worn by Tim Pat Coogan. It's about the history of the Irish diaspora.

I loved Fools Die! Go find that book again.

I have had similar experiences with the Mag46. I just can't get into it. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad smoke, it just doesn't have that magic for me that others experience from it. I'll take any Punch corona gorda over it anyday.

I wouldn't pay for anything like that without some serious perks. I've seen it done in a few places, but that comes with a humidified locker to store smokes, and booze in one place that has no liquor license.

Slowly but surely this is happening across the country. It seems like it was only yesterday they got us here in New York. My friend owned a bar where we would get together and smoke cigars every day until the ban came.
