For anyone who has actually smoked a 1492. Are they actually worth the price? Seems a little high for a smoke.

Awesome review Andy. These are by far my favorite smoke. Worth every Penney. I haven't had a smoke that was as complex as the 80th maddie. I have one in the humi for my wedding anniversary coming up at the end of the month. Can't wait to smoke it. Mike

Yeah its a pretty nice humi for a liquor store. I have bought sticks in the past. I'll pick some up the next time im there. As for the orginal Master Blend, I have never seen those. But if I ever see them I will def. grab some.

Cello is not the cause of the wrapper cracking. All of my cigars are in the cello if they came in them. They actually protect them from the handling. Could be a bad apple of humidity issue.

Anyone had them? Ran across them in a liquor store humidor the other day and was wondering if they worth a try or should I just stick to the Master III ? Thanks for your inputs. Mike

Yes it is a Ommegang. Go for it you'll love it. It is a Quad. It picked up the giftset at the store. It had the Three Philosophers, Hennpin, and Chocolate Indulgence with a glass for 20 bucks. Not bad in my book. I can't wait to try the Chocolate Indulgence to compare it to Sam Adams Chocolate...

I actually just had this new beer I kind of fell in love with. Three Philosophers. It's a blended Belgian style ale with 98% ale and 2% ale with cherries added. It's awesome you should try some.

I loved this beer. I tasted a little bit of coffee when I had mine. Of course it could have been the cigar, but awesome smoke overall. $13.99 here in Atlanta, GA.
