Nearing the time for a celebratory baby cigar.

In June I'm expecting child #1, a boy. I'm wondering what I should smoke for the occasion. My go to smoke right now is Oliva V, but I only do one or two a week of this one; most of the time I just plow through 3 dollar smokes. But when I splurge, I go for a Camacho Triple or maybe an Opus...

I need a suggestion or two

I'm mostly into Oliva V these days. Lately, I've been looking for something new in the same $6-8 dollar range. I think I need to go more Medium-Full strength, although I do enjoy a mild Perdomo Champagne or a full strength Opus(when affordable). Any suggestions?

    Crappy Oliva V Maduro

I fired up an Oliva V Maduro this evening. Seemed to be a shitty roll and the damn thing formed a tunnel from the very beginnning. The last 4th of it finished OK, but I was let down seeing as how I typically am pleased with the Olivas, especially the V's.

    New Perdomo Grand Cru

Had a couple this evening. Damn good smokes. Of course, I am a Perdomo whore.

    Anyone try the Oliva Connecticut?

It didn't do a whole lot for me.

    Any Perdomo fans out there?

Hi, I was wondering who out there likes Perdomos? Champagne is one of my favorites. Any recommendations on similar cigars from other brands?
