    Clear Havanas

Hey yall, I haven't really seen much conversation on these little gems. So i decided to make a post. I recently got ahold of several pre-embargo era "Clear Havana" cigars. I didn't really know what Clear Havana Cigars were until recently and I've been smoking cigars for 10 years now. Basically...

Nice find, I found a Newair on Craigslist for $20 last month. Isn't it a good feeling when you find steals like this?

    Old vs. New

Just thought y'all would appreciate this. I have an original c.1950s H. Upmann Short Corona jar and I wanted to compare it to my H. Upmann Noellas jar from this year. They are very similar while the glass on the antique jar is much smoother than the Noellas jar. The cigars are very similar in...

    My Vintage H. Upmann acquisition.

Thanks! Yeah I didn't spend too much on it. I'm going to let them slowly come back to life, they don't feel too dry but you never know. I'll try one and let y'all know how it smokes. I couldn't let a vintage jat of H. Upmanns go because I know I'd regret it.

    Ebay score!

Just wanted to share a pretty neat eBay pick up. I've been wanting a vintage humidor for my office for decoration. Most of them are way over priced. However, I ran into this "best offer" ad for a humidor plus vintage cigar box. It intrigued me, so I clicked on the ad. Well lo and behold it comes...

    My Vintage H. Upmann acquisition.

He got them in the late 90s, but hasn't really touched them since, apparently he bought them off an other cigar collector who had a rather large pre embargo collection.

    $20 Craigslist Newair score!

So I have been wanting to get a Wineador for a while but the cost kept me from doing so because I rather spend the money on cigars. I troll through Craigslist every so often and this particular day I see an ad for a non-functional Newair for $20. The ad was up for 5 days and no one jumped on it...

Im going to slowly introduce them to the proper humidity and temperatures. They have been in a cabinet for over 20 years but who knows before that.

    My Vintage H. Upmann acquisition.

Hey y'all! Just wanted to share my vintage H. Upmann jar I recently purchased from a buddy of mine who has an impressive collection. I date it c. 1950s. I haven't smoked any of them but they still have some give when I put a little pressure on them. The wrappers are still smooth but not like on...

    Ahhhh. Fauxibas!

I wouldn't doubt it. But it makes you think, why go through all the trouble making fake cigars when you could just sell your own brand.
