    Aguila Cigars from Switzerland

Nice review @garbandz! I smoked the Aguila Torpedo you gave me and it was outstanding. (Thank you, it was much appreciated)

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

It's a shame the tip broke on the poker you have. Ours carries a lifetime warranty. So, if you were to replace the one you have with a Modus you won't have to worry about it breaking too. In the rare event that it does, we'll replace it for free.

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

It's not a knife! But, the draw tool skewer is 3.75" long. Threaded ferrules are brass on the Rosado and stainless steel on the Maduro.

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

Notches? Don't know. Several I would think. Been using them on homemade pokers for years.... since about 2008, I think, maybe earlier. Was a natural to incorporate on the factory made models. Works quite well. Clarification for others, curmudgeonista is my member name on some other forums.

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

Sorry for any confusion. I thought it obvious that I'm associated with the product by posting in the retailer section.

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

Yes, I am a vendor, owner of Modus Design LLC. Hence, the reason I placed this in the sub-forum designated for retailers. We currently market B2C through Amazon (and opening with more and more B&M's every day). However, I'm also a cigar enthusiast and enjoy reading forums as well as posting...

Modus Cigar Tool - Draw Tool & Nubber

The Modus Cigar Tool is a unique accessory designed to enhance the cigar smoker's experience. It combines two handy tools into one very elegant format, a draw tool for improving airflow in cigars that are rolled too tightly, and a "nubber" for holding a very short remaining portion of a cigar...

    My placebo effect

I read the whole Puff saga before it got deleted. Sure, Giovanni may have been unstable a couple of days ago, but this is a whole new Giovanni. I wonder how many there are in there?

    Don't Buy Cigars from Johnny-O!

LOL You... puff, puff... really need to... puff, puff, puff... take these back... puff, puff... while I still... puff, puff... have some left... puff, puff, puff...

    Off-Brand Cubans

Vequeros developed a somewhat less-than-stellar reputation based the original offerings. But, I quite like the new blend Vegueros. Their profile reminds me of a Montecristo. Hard to believe anyone who's actually tried one would steer you to tripa corta JLP's & Quinteros instead. Since the...

    Don't Buy Cigars from Johnny-O!

Yep, I have heard it said that Johnny-O's are great to smoke within the first few weeks of rolling, but then may need to lay down for a good long rest. Someone (Johnny?) correct me if I'm wrong. But, no problem here. I'm used to giving my purchases the time they need to hit their stride...

    Off-Brand Cubans

I've really been enjoying the new blend Vegueros, particularly the Tapados. For me, they are very reminiscent of Montecristos (at MC's best, which can be spotty). Lot's of Cuban "twang"! Quinteros are basically yard-gars. All vitolas are short filler. I have a few different ones, and will...
