Got mine yesterday and was able to get a decent amount of the adhesive off with bug & tar remover (it's what I had laying around) but it took a lot of elbow grease. Let me know how the Goo Gone works.

That's a great looking humidor. The RyJ humidors always seem to have great woodworking on them - I almost pulled the trigger on this one a while back but ended up going the vino route. Congrats on a beautiful box!

I was just thinking about buying more beads so I did the calculation using the exterior dimensions and that comes out to about 12 oz which is what I'm going to use. I figure it's better to have too many than too few - although you could probably get away with less since the interior dimensions...
