100 things to do before you die

I've been keeping a list like this for as long as I can remember. Of course it's a list that is constantly changing, it gets updated as I get older or discover new things or after I accomplish things that are on my list. For example, when I was much younger I wanted to get married, own a Porsche, restore a car, have kids, purchase a house, have nasty sex. As I got older I added other things, like climb a volcano, travel to Paris, Italy and Spain, own a 100 year old house, become a mentor, be in a movie, own an original piece of art by a well known artist.

Many things I have accomplished, a few I haven't "yet" crossed off my list, and others I don't know how I ever will accomplish them but it's fun and it keeps me working toward something. Last month I finally accomplished a long standing item .... I purchased an original piece of art by a well known artist. Okay, well know in this case is relative but if you google Shag you'll see what I'm talking about.

The best way for me to add new items to my list is to get ideas from others as to what they may have on their lists of "things you want to accomplish before you die". So let's hear them! and if you want to share a story of how you accomplished something you've always wanted to do let's hear it also.

Thanks!

Brandon, I don't think doing it with Thumbelina and her four ugly sister is what he meant...even if you didn't wash your hands. :sign:

What if you did the "stranger", would that count?

I'd like to travel to all 7 continents as a starter. I am at five so far

That's cool ........

... as far as the be in a movie goes, I had always thought it would be fun to be an extra in a movie. One weekend, a couple of years ago, my wife and I went down to Pasadena and were extras in the movie Sea Biscuit, we spent all day Saturday on the set at The Santa Anita Race Track. A very cool experience, I was selected from a group to get in an upfront shot right on the rail, unfortunately it never made it to the film. But during that shot they postioned my wife in a particular spot and we could actually make out her figure in the final movie  .

Checked off another one yesterday ....... visit and travel on Route 66

We headed down to Southern California on Monday night to be extras in another movie on Tuesday. The Perfect Game, the story about the 1957 Little League World Series. Hopefully we'll actually make it on camera this time. But while traveling to the stadium in San Bernardino we found ourselves actually on Route 66! After the shoot we took a little side trip before heading home and visited this place on Route 66.
