I am sure I shouldn't be stressing this because I have always said that you are as old as you live your life; but I turn the big 3 0 in 14 days!! I knew this day would come, but for some reason I am more nervous then I thought I would be. I loved my 20s. Most people love their highschool days; I was the opposite, I hated the HS days but loved my 20s and to think I only have 14 left freaks me out!

I hope I will learn to love my 30s like I did my 20s.

Any suggestions out there of what I should smoke to celebrate??? How should I start the next decade out right. To get anything special I know I am going to have to call Isy and get an order going

Man, I can't stop thinking....half way to 60!!

No suggestions on what to smoke, but don't obsess about your age. You can't control it anyway, so why bother worrying about it? I'm 33, BTW, about to turn 34 next month.

To add a bit of perspective, my buddy's father just passed away. During the wake and funeral and reception, and into the night afterwards there were stories about his father, adventures, stories of our own, all shared over great food, drinks, and cigars. He had a great life, no matter if he died at age 66.

A night later, as I shared Chinese food with my parents and cracked open the fortune cookie and read it, it all wrapped up perfectly. The fortune said, "It's not the years in your life but the life in your years that count."

Not sure why you don't think you'll be able to love life because of a birthday.

You can't prevent aging so don't try to, just enjoy it :)

For a smoke, get something you know you like, maybe at the top of your budget.

Appreciate the words of wisdom guys! I will just have to readjust my frame of mind...because as you said, "It's not the years in your life but the life in your years that count." (great one to live by)
