1st Annual Ligasmaster International Competition
To be held: March 13, 2010
At "Whiskey River Smoke Out" cigar & tobacco 70 acre fellowship festival at Willie Nelson's Place in Carl's Corner, TX.
Competition Evaluations will include 5 aspects:
1)Country of Origin
2)Cigar Wrapper
3)Cigar Binder
4)Cigar Blend
5)Cigar Manufacturer
Entry Fee: $25.00
Competition timeline:
Saturday, March 13, 2010
All contestant would be wise to eat a simple, but hearty breakfast two hours prior to competition beginning. In order to maintain energy and concentration on a full stomach.
10:00 a.m. contestant check-in. / 11:00 a.m. competition begins
Round One:
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Mild Bodied Cigars
3 cigars - 15 minute evaluation intervals
palate cleansing coffee & bread served (45 minute evaluation deadline)
45 minute evaluation resting period
Round Two:
12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Medium Bodied Cigars
3 cigars - 15 minute evaluation intervals
palate cleansing coffee & bread served (45 minute evaluation deadline)
1hr 45 minute evaluation resting period & lunch break
Round Three:
3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Full Bodied Cigars
3 cigars - 15 minute evaluation intervals
Palate cleansing coffee & bread served (45 minute evaluation deadline)
Evaluation results will be compiled and competition placement will be announced.
This event will feature 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for contestants who score the highest percentage points on the cigar evaluation competitions.
