2nd Anniversary

Fuggin Red Flops lost. I'm going to bed, but first, I guess I'm going to have to give a little hint. AVB, MC, and I share many of the same service ribbons. Mine, however, are just a little bit different.

Doc

you were allowed to stagger yours?

congrats!!

Combat Operations Insignia: Authorized by the United States Marine Corps to any member of the United States Navy, who is assigned to either a U.S. Navy unit under operational control of a Fleet Marine Force unit, or an individual sailor assigned to Fleet Marine Force unit. The unit, or individual assigned to a unit, must have engaged in active combat during service with the unit.

You've got me stumped as well....The one guess I had was wrong so I'll just say this...

Congrats on your two years....

Lurch

I have no clue either, but congratulations nonetheless on your milestone! I look forward to reading more of your informative posts.

Shusssss.... Doc is sleeping in this morning. The home let him stay up late last night.

Doc, you are part of the heart and soul of CP. Between your history post and your razor sharp wit there is not much that you have posted since I joined that I have not read.

Here is to many many more years

as for a guess for the contest, was it one of the items pointed out here

Thanks for everything you add to CP, and thanks for the great contest

Tim

AVB is correct. In return for nagging Jarheads about changing their dirty socks and wearing condoms, (which is why I have such a pleasant disposition,BTW) I got to wear the Bird, Ball and Hook on a couple of my service ribbons. Not even a Marine is afforded this privilege.

I'll get your winnings out before the end of the week.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words,

Doc.

Congratulations Doc, your presence at CP is a plus for us all.
