Just received a PM from Marc (Neuro) stating the same thing. All is good on this one!
 
Regardless of past transgressions, neuro was very open and forthcoming with both myself and corona gigante on his PIF participation.

He sent returned CG's pack to him and covered the additional shipping costs for CG to send out the next PIF.

Get off his back and let this be over already. There are far more important things to occupy your time with... like participating in the Katrina auctions.

Anyways was thinking after all this recent summer drama, maybe we ought to have some defined and written rules with penalties if members don't respect em. Its seems crap like this gets carried on waaaaaaaaay to long, and I am talking about everything; i.e. fill in the blanks with whatever other antics have happened here.

It seems like there should be a "Newbie read this first"/rules postie in the lobby with our rules/regs and penalties for breaking em. I know Rod has something like that briefly posted around and one at the top of the lobby about flaming and politics, but maybe we need something more defined, more strict.

Perhaps a CP consitution/by-laws or something. It just seems like a lot of people lately abuse the latitude given to them by members and keep going with their own selfish concerns/needs.

I know having something like this may feel tiresome, but it can have the effect of "Hey jackass did you read the sign on the way in, oh good so you know, then don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out."

Newbies don't read rules and they don't use the search feature. You learn through beatings... some make it, some don't. :p
 
I'm going to ignore his immature and psuedo-toughguy PM. He made good, and that's all that matters.

On a personal note Neuromancer - I was going to send out a disgustingly generous package (for someone in my position) as a replacement if you failed to come through. I wasn't picking on you to be mean, but I was sure as hell not going to let you take advantage of the people that have bee so gernerours to each other in my short time here. This was done all out in the open, not hiding in PM's, and it's finished. I wish you well, and hope you'll eventually mature enough to understand what you did wrong.

I agree, newbies are called newbies for a reason. There is all sorts of great info for newbies on this site, but it is pretty scattered. Becuase of that you end up with some clown whos first post looks something like this. Has anyone put any thought into creating a Newbie Forum? I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere but I couldnt find it again, I guess I havnt had enough beatings to learn how to use the search feature :) . Everyone here seems really good about welcoming newbies and pointing them in the right direction, but this could save a lot of time and effort. Just my .02 cents

Some people just aren't cut out for the BB life. You can always tell when someone is a social outcast in real life. They come here thinking they can hide behind the keyboard but it always shows in the dialog. especially when your average posts are 40-60 a day.

I am sure Nueromancer never meant any real harm (accept for that exchange with in atucks thread ??? )I guess you just can't get along with everyone.

Just for everybody's information, I received the package back from Neuormancer yesterday. He had included money to cover the shipping and some extra cigars which more than made up for any small inconvenience I suffered.

I shudder to even think about it... all these newbies in one place for the wolves to pounce on? It be like a shooting gallery but worse. Oh, the humanity.

It's better for the newbies to get picked off one at a time... at least that way, a few might slip below the radar. We don't want newbies to go extinct, ya know? :laugh:

Kidding aside, that's really what the lobby is for.
