50/50 Propylene Glycol/Distilled Water

I had been buying my PG at Walmart for $7.95 a quart. But with the humidors and coolers I'm accumilating, I think I need to find a better source. Thanks Sam. :thumbs:
 
$7.95 a quart!!! My Walmart charges more than that for a pint!!!. You gettin' it from the pharmacy? The pharmacy is charging me about $12/pint.???
 
:0 Sorry mac that should be $7.95/pint, not quart. And I do get it from their pharmacy. I do have to explain to them what I'm doing with it everytime I order a bottle.
 
I realize I'm a little late replying to this thread, but I've orderd from ChemistryStore.com in the past. Do you realize that you CAN get a quart for 7.15 there - or better yet, get a gallon for just over $10. If I remember right, there's $10 minimum order anyway - so you're kinda stuck with the gallon.

Not that I'm complaining or anything.....

Let's see....

2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon

8 pints = 1 gallon

8 X say, $7.00 = $56 at the pharmacy, or the same amount for $11.20 at the site listed. Doh!

1 gallon of propylene glycol = 2 gallons of 50/50 when mixed with distilled water, which lasts FOR-EVER! Climaxx on that!

He means it guys! And these ROCK! ( and even kinda look like rocks!) :p

This stuff is VERY nice. Even here in 0 Humidity 100 plus daily temps, this media has stayed ROCK solid at 66 R/H in a coolerdor with only the ceder from 2 boxes while in an UN airconditioned garage.

( Finally moved it out of the garage because the heat was getting to 80 inside. )

Imagine what it can do in a more normal rather than hostile environment!!! ( My coolordor is probably 6CF, ONE more CF than a single pound of media is supposed to be able to handle so I am Pushing the limit on it and still getting GREAT results!
