I have had the Red and the Blue Label; both of which were pretty good. Interesting to see what the Oscuro will be like..

United Tobacco Expands 601 Line
United Tobacco Inc., in response to the growing popularity of their 601 brand, have added new
sizes to the line.
Sunrise, FL, July 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- United Tobacco Inc., in response to the growing popularity of
their 601 brand, have added new sizes to the line. In addition, they have repositioned the previously
introduced, and highly successful La Punta (5.5 X 48 X 52 Perfecto) and Trabuco (6-1/8 X 58) - both
with a rich Oscuro wrapper.
Henceforth, the 601 cigars with an Oscuro wrapper will carry a Green and Gold label. The Green label
601 line will also include the following new sizes:
Corona 5 X 42 In boxes of 40
Tronco 5 X 52 In boxes of 20
La Fuerza 5.5 X 54 In boxes of 20

The Red Label 601 (Habano wrapper) has added one new size:
Guapito 4 X 32 In boxes of 100

The Blue Label 601 (Box Pressed Maduro wrapper) has added one new size:
Prominente 5.5 X 56 In boxes of 20

601 also introduce an Edición Limitada at 7.5 X 52 in an exquisite ceramic jar containing 24 cigars. The
jar will be available to order at the forthcoming RTDA in Houston, TX and will only be issued and
shipped once each year.
All United Tobacco products will be displayed at the RTDA in Houston, 6 - 8 August.

I had a red label La Punta yesterday that i had picked up about a month ago. It was amazing! Was a good change from the DPG blue's and Tatuajes. Called my b&m and they only had one left. I'm thinking of buying a box. I would reccomend anyone who comes across one to try it out.
 
How can you call yourself a Pepin Whore if you haven't had any of the 601's yet?? Wyatt I think you may have to prove your worth to reclaim that title.

That's an Oscuro, soon to be wearing the green label I should think.

What the hell is the matter with me? That's it....I'm looking for some.
 
Yeah, I got a little confused by the post. Correct me if I'm wrong but an oscuro wrapper is darker than an average maduro? This cigar was even on the lighter side of maduro if you ask me. Maybe I'm just confused. Any ideas?
 
Ditto on the La Punta!!

I have one left and lookng for more. They are a little scarce right now.

As Mike says, they are changing the label. I hope they don't change anything else.
