If you go to a bar, you can pretty much expect there to be alcohol and smoke. Dont whine to me about my Cigar while your wrecking your liver. Thats like telling Nascar they must have mufflers and emissions equipment installed on their race cars. You know its gonna be loud and a little noxious in some areas...but you go anyways. Same goes for a resteraunt you know that allows smoking. If you know its gonna happen (smoking), dont gripe when it does happen. Go somewhere else. If you dont want to work in an environment that has smoke, dont apply for that job.
Ill bet a dollar those 62% of Americans would believe the sky was purple if "big brother" told them so.
As far as that tax goes, its just the good ol "sin tax". Tax those things which you deem to be "bad".
Everyone feels they have the right to not be offended, even if that means offending others. And as far as "rights" are concerned, that is a word that gets thrown around alot. If you want to talk about rights being infringed, neither one of ours really is; because there is not right to either. There is nowhere in the Constitution that says we have the right to smoke anywhere. On the other hand, there is also no "right to clean air" that many seem to hollering about. While it does suck, it comes down to whoever can make the bigger mountain out of their molehill.
Dont even get me started on blaming resteraunts for fat people....
