I had my wisdom teeth pulled last week monday and I haven't picked up a cigar to smoke. Im worried, since I still have a hole where my bottom mollar was, that the smoke from the cigar can affect something in that hole since it has not healed yet. What do you think.....

If your mouth is still sore or tender, you probably will not enjoy the smoke anyhow. I would wait a few more days.

I would way a couple more days or call the Dentist tomorrow and see if she/he gives the green light for smoking cigars. :thumbs: No reason to rush it as the cigars will always be there, but problems can arise from rushing.

Yeah, don't rush it. I'd even suggest even if your dentist says its ok, I'd wait it out another day or so just to be on the safe side since you said that the hole is still there.

My little brother just had mouth surgery for gum erosion (brushing too hard, don't do it). So he can't smoke for 2wks, and then, he has surgery on the other side of his mouth, so there's another two weeks. Sucks for him, his Avos are MINE!
But, yeh, they told him 2wks, and I know from having my wisdom teeth pulled it's pretty major also, so I'd wait two weeks. There's a decent rate of infection on wisdom teeth pulling, so I wouldn't do anything to slow the healing and risk an infection.

Don't think I saw anyone mention this yet, but unless you fell like you are completely healed and are doing everything else normally, I'd hold off. Not just because of the nicotine inhibiting the healing process like Doc said, but also because of the risk of dry sockets. I don't know if you are already past the stage where that can happen, but from what I hear, it's no walk in the park, and smoking too soon can increase the chances of that happening. Especially if you smoke something with a tight draw. Good luck.

Yes it dose, it also weakens your spinal erectors. So if any of you have chronic back pain you now know why.
Back on subject I wouldn’t just for the chance that you could get a dry socket. Let me tell you, you don’t want a friggin dry socket. There’s no cigar worth that kind of pain.

I’d just get as drunk as I can and see where that takes me... 
Do what you feel is right, there’s no cigar that is worth risking any part of your health for...they will still be there later on when you are all healed up
