thank you AVB...a 96 yr old even knowing how to get voice mail gives that away. b4 my 90 yr old grandmother passed away, she swore she would never deal with a "touch tone" phone (she had a rotory phone forever)or one of those "new fangled computer atm's" god bless her sole.
 
even if it is'nt real, it is intertaining. lol! fing banks have become faceless enti :( ties!

just like here at the university that i work at. the same exact thing happens but worse . . . with the main number to the different schools e.g. school of nursing(our biggest program) does that and doesnt give you ANY option to transfer back to the attendant or whatever . . . if you press "0" it says its an invalid attendant number . . . wont GIVE you the attendant number THEN hangs up on you. pretty much everything short of calling you an idiot and laughing

my favorite is when people call the student accounts department to make a payment and it does the same thing, no one answers, and then when the voicemail hits, it hangs up on you. then you get a $500 late payment charge for not calling in your payment!!! hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

this is NOT one of the biggest or ONLY schools down here . . . . and in fact is a private school that charges a LOT of money compared to the state schools in the area. we charge 23k a year(660 a credit). PLUS 8k for housing. thats right around 30K to attend a school that cant answer a phone.

as i type this, a student(i answer phones) is complaining about how the phone system is not letting her get through to the voicemail that is (im sure) full to the hilt and will hang up on her anyway lol

oh and to top it all off, we are so understaffed that no one answers voicemail/returns messages . . . for days on end.

and then you throw in the whole "ehh, i dont want to answer that" attitude that some people have . . . its great! lol

I didn't care whether it was real or not either. Just thought it was funny as hell. Got it as a fax from a friend 1st so then I went looking for it on the net so I could email it.
