About a month ago my wife, who is unemployed and supposedly looking for work herself tells me, "I saw an ad in the classifieds about a cigar bar looking for part time employees."
Me: Oh really? Aren't you supposed to be the one looking for employment? I'M the one who has the full time job.
Her: Oh, I know. I thought you might be interested because it's nearby and because it might be fun since you like cigars.
Me: Okay, you'll have to show it to me some time.
So a few weeks go by...
Me: Hey, where is that ad about the job at the cigar bar?
Her: It's in the Bowie Blade-News in the classifieds.
Me: It's not in this weeks issue. (After checking the Classifieds.)
Her: Look in last weeks.
So I look in the following weeks Classifieds and I find it. There is a phone number that I search for online. It turns out to be a personal number, not a business. So I drop the idea for a while.
A few more weeks go by and I've been thinking, yeah, it would be cool to work part time in a cigar store. It would almost be a dream job because of my passion for cigars, although it wouldn't pay much...
Her: Hi Sweetie. I'm at Waugh Chapel. (A shopping Ctr about 15 minutes away.) I'm in front of that new cigar bar I was telling you about. There is a "Help Wanted" sign on the front door. It's not open yet. It looks like they're still under construction.
Me: Is there a phone number? (She gives me the phone number. It turns out to be the same one that was in the Classifieds.)
So I call the number Friday evening and speak to a very nice lady, Michelle. I get the run down about the shop that she and her husband are opening. She takes my number and her husband calls me back. I end up talking to him for over half an hour. I'll probably end up working one or two part time shifts a week.

If nothing else, I've got a shop about 15 minutes away. I can hit them up for all their events.
