Let me begin by thanking everyone for all of the knowledge that I have gleened from here over the past few months. I have been waiting for something good to share, and I think last night definately qualifies.

The word forbidden automatically creates desire, and thoughts of something so good that enjoyment of it will create consequences. No conseqences as of yet, just yummy good things. As you've probably guessed, last night I experienced a Forbidden X. After showing it off to a couple of people at my local cigar bar, I removed it from it's glass tube and ran it under my nose, inhaling deeply. Surprisingly, it smelled quite mild. I'm guessing that the mild smell was aqtually indicative of the age of this cigar, and that the term mellowed would be more appropriate. Strangely, I don't remember my impressions of the beginning of this cigar, bit it developed into a wonderfully smooth, full bodied smoke. If I had to put a finger on any subtle flavors of this cigar, I would say spicy chocolate. What lingers in my mind most is the excellent flavor of some very well cared for aged tobacco.

After the cigar I was invited to sit next to a very cute 40ish hippy chick. And we flirted with each other for the rest of the evening. I couldn't help but feel a bit like Dustin Hoffman in the Graduate. Thanks Mrs. Robinson ;) And thank you all for reading. Hope you've enjoyed.

Welcome, Dave. :) Sounds like a great evening.May I suggest filling out your profile a little more completely. I've heard that people who do sometimes find surprises in their mail box. Also, check out the newbie sampler trade. I don't think you will be disapointed.

Must have been one of the black-banded Forbidden X cigars. Wonderful smokes!
