Traveling Herf Man
A friend sent me this so I thought I would share it with you all.
Santa was checking on all the little boys and girls. Since Opus X-mas was getting very near, he was checking his naughty or nice list and visiting homes to watch some of the children. He came upon the "Torano Family" home and as he "Nub"ed his head over the fence he could see that the "Casa Torano" was Herfing. Carlos' family was sitting in the living room around the TV set playing their favorite video game "Man O Warcraft". As Carlos played, he thought, "VSGee! I wonder what Mom's got aging in the kitchen". The sweet "La Aroma de Cuba" permeated the air.
Carlos leaped from his chair to CAOpen door leading to the Kitchen where Mom had laid out A. Fuente Fine feast. When they finished, Carlos felt Full Bodied and content. What a beautiful Dark Night it was becoming. He couldn't wait for Opus X-mas eve. He had an Illusione of his HERF to come, when all of a suddenly he had a Vision. He thought that if he was a very good boy, maybe Santa Damiana would bring him a something Especial.
The Toranos decided that it was time to decorate the tree and so with Opus X-mas spirit, the trimmed the tree, which came all the way from Tatuaje, on the corner of RT J21 and Legero Lane, and listened to Opus No. 2 from Romeo y Julieta played with PerfecXion on a Stradivarius. Their excitement kept them on The Edge of their seats. This was going to be a Old World type of Christmas and not a Rocky one.
When they were finished they sat by the fire and toasted each other and a few of their favorite cigars. Mommy with her Moontrance, sister Eileen's Dream of her Havana Honey, My Father reading a Best Seller that was a Classic Hemingway Masterpiece in which it was stated, if you read Between the Lines, that it was Short Story of Don Carlos from 1926, or was it 1964, I forget which. It is the story of family, friends and BOTLs that share their joys, their blessings, and their words of wisdom.
Santa was Pleiades. His list was now complete.
He now could go home, and put up his feet.
He'll torch up a Bolivar and watch his favorite show.
The Sopranos and check out Tony Soprano, The Boss with his Associate and the Soldier don't cha know.
And as he left you could hear him exclaim
"Dutch Masters, White Owls and Muriels are lame".
We all know what he said as he flew out of sight.
"Smoke an Anejo for me and to all a good light".
