A story about a Girl and her coffee

So for my wife's birthday, I bought her the Santos Coffee Pot from Bodum, and a few pounds of coffee from Mr Jerry & Killer Beans. So everything arrives, she is scared of the coffee pot, and is pist at me about the coffee.

You see, I forgot that we no longer own a grinder, and now she has to wait until she has time to get out and buy one. All the while she is smelling this wonderfully coffee. So she breaks down, puts the Santos together, and pulls out the Pampered Chef chopper...you know the one that you push down on the plunger and the blades chop the food....well she fills the tub with coffee beans and starts chopping away. She says she had to brew the coffee twice to get it to the right strength.

And when I asked her if the coffee was any good....."OMG, honey! That was the best cup of coffee I have had in years!"

Long story short....she is off to buy a grinder

Great story Tim, but she could always run down to the local Shoprite, PriceChopper, Acme, ect. and use theirs until she gets her own grinder....... :thumbs:

No, she is good now, we have been dealing with some very heartbreaking news over the last week, and all her time was being spent at the local hospital. She is fine, but she was there with our best friends.

She now has the time to go and get her grinder. Thanks for the offer
