A Texas Blessing

Bless this house, oh Lord, we cry.
Please keep it cool in mid-July.

Bless the walls where termites dine,
while ants and roaches march in time.

Bless our yard where spiders pass
the fire ant castles in the grass.

Bless the garage, a home to please
carpenter beetles, ticks and fleas.

Bless the love bugs, two by two,
the gnats and mosquitoes that feed on you.

Millions of creatures that fly or crawl,
in Texas, Lord, you've put them all!

But this is home, and here we'll stay,
So thank you Lord, for insect spray.

Amen.

Seven bird houses
two bird baths
three feeders
and a bat box

And the county sprays for mosquitos routinely

Actually its working good for me and maybe the Karma will come around when I get to fly.

Yep, can relate to that in Alabama, especially the fleas and mosquitoes around our house. Also around (though thankfully not in our house right now - but this is Alabama so you never know :sign: ) roaches, spiders, gnats and ticks.

You people don't even know.

Here in Kansas you can take all that stuff, blow it all around everywhere into the most unlikely places with a nice constant 20 - 50 mph wind, and then coat it all with a nice think layer of dust just to make the suprises all the interesting.

Yeah, but Sam, at least in Texas everything isn't covered with that red dirt, or red mud, as I saw it there. Couldn't get it off the bottom of my boots. Had to wear it off. Took forever.
