In the 1960's (remember the 1960's?) there was a comic in Mad magazine by Don Martin, of the government choppering in a barber to snip a tree branch growing out of Abe's (or one of the others I don't remember which) nose. :laugh:

I don't know what year that was, but I was 9 years old when that Don Martin barber bit came out.
My growing up with that magazine explaines a lot.
