Acid

I was at a local herf last night and one of the guys was passing around a baggie of Acids. They smelt like petulie oil, reminded me of my first girl friend. I wished I would have had one now :whistling:

Never had the kuba kuba but did try the blondie today... thought it was gonna be horrible by the smell of it... I guess the best way to describe it was as earlier... ."like it was dipped in old spice" but I decided to try it anyways cause' I'm the type of guy that like to try new stuff so I figured what the hey.... first thing I noticed it was too sweet, second... it burned perfectly, and third it didn't actually taste as bad as it smelled, although it was too sweet for my taste it had a decent cedary taste to it, but I wouldn't be buying any more.. one of those sticks that you would probably smoke if it was given to you but wouldn't pay dime for it.

I'm sure my buddy smokehouse will chime in on this topic. He gifted me a kuba kuba at work one day'I had never smoked one before. So after he I cut it I gave it a pre light draw and was like whoa........I think if I smoke this I wii surely puke.I just couldn't do it man, it was(as alot have said) glade -plug-in flavor.I took it home and put it in the "special" humi.

A colleague is big into Acids. Blondies particularly. He's a good guy and I don't want to hurt is cigar pride, but they're god awful. We stopped mini- herfing on lunch because that candy coated smell was ruining everyone else's stick. I gave him a Chateau Fuente and he told me it was "OK". But it was the kind of "OK" that says 'I thought it sucked'.... Neophyte.

....some people dig wine coolers, too. What can you do..... :whistling:

In all seriousness, you have to smoke what you like and like what you smoke. Every B&M I've been in has Acids for sale, and when I ask "....do you actually sell many of those things..." the answer is always "...yes! Quite a few..!!". Whatever floats your boat, as they say. Not like that will prevent me from giving folks a bad time for smoking "Old Spice Selects".....

Cheers - B.B.S.

Although I don't smoke Acids, you have to give it to Drew Estate. They definitely ahve the market cornered on flavored cigars. I respect how they flavor them at least - they don't just dip the tip like most places (CAO flavored for example). All of their cigars are infused.

At the bottom of this page is a really good list as to what Acids are supposed to taste like. About the only flavored Drew Estate I'll smoke is the Java Wafe. I love it on a very rare occasion as a dessert cigar. Can't stand the other sizes though. Their natural line is a lot along those lines too.

Working at a shop it's so hard to keep a straight face when trying to describe just how great an Acid cigar is and how they're flavored.
