Making friends everywhere!
So I just went into my desktop humi to choose a cigar to smoke when I notice something odd. Trapped in the celophane of one of the cigars is a dead beetle. This is made all the more obvious by the droppings in the celo and a telltale hole in the wrapper. Now I have to decide whether to freeze the entire contents of the desktop (including all my PAMs and FFOX
It is clear that nothing got out of the infested cigar as the celo was still fully closed at the bottom and the dead beetle was inside. Also the infested cigar was only in the humidor a few days. I checked all the cigars and saw nothing to indicate more beetles. Should I put everything in the freezer anyways? It seems like this would undoubtably have a negative effect on the flavor and burn of the cigars so I am a little apprehensive given the low likelihood the infestation spread. What do I do ???
