The name seemed familiar when I read the post but I couldn't put a face to it. This is terribly tragic.

I was watching about this today. She actually got up and walked away from the accident with no symptoms, and then an hour later had to be taken to the hospital. Very tragic. This is tragic for anyone, you just don't hear a lot about this kind of thing until it is put into the spotlight like this. Such a great talent whom will be missed by her family and friends and of course fans of her work.

I second this. I was a ski instructor for 5 years and every year there was at least one serious head injury or death that could have been prevented by wearing a helmet.

My family skis 6 to 8 times a year and we all wear a helmet everytime. Although its supprising how many people still don't. Maybe this will change some minds.
