Figured an updated 2023 thread might be beneficial. Seems as though most cigar coolers are made in china, huge bummer. Would love to get updated feedback from you guys on which brands seem to have the lesser of issues.
Seems like New Air and Needone (Audew) are maybe more reliable? I need a 400-800 capacity with ability to heat & cool. Built-in humidification isn't a must as I'm fine with using several 320G Boveda's. Thanks for any feedback.

I've been doing acrylic jars / containers for so long, I've just got an itch for an electric cooler that needs scratching.

For a cooler, just use beads. I have ten 48qt or larger coolers running perfectly fine off one $15 bag of beads:

No. Don't delete. You're not intentionally doing anything wrong. Just read a lot, share some cigar porn, and ask a lot of questions.. that aren't easily answered by the search feature.

Yea I've looked at Whytner as well, I think I'd probably lean towards New Air based on what all I've read.

Great setup, is that the baby needone on top? I wouldn't mind have all my boxes in a larger New Air and all my loose / mismatched sticks in a small one like you have on top. Thanks for the pic!

Believe it or not, I paid $250 because it had a dent on the side ( I didn't care ) and $50 shipping. Took out the wine shelves, clipped the wine sh
elf retainers and bought 3 spansh cedar shelves. I use Tupperware for loose sticks and set boxes on the top. Also use Boveda on each shelf as I have no fans. It has been rock steady for over four years.
