I love the idea of a newlywed pass! I've never hosted, but would liket o take part, once all the aprticipants are back from their honeymoons!

hmmm, sounds like a pretty neat idea. I am definitely game. Maybe we can start working out the details on how this will go.

Sounds like we just need a newlywed capable of hosting.:thumbs: I just hope I don't get thrown out on the count of the pass likely beginning after I surpass the 1 year mark, May 18th.

First of all, I think one year on the 18th can still be involved.
But how smart is it to pass a box of cigars around the country during the warm weeather? I've never talked to folks here about ow to handle passes in the summer. I know I would get home to a box waiting in a a non-airconditioned sun-room after sitting on a mail truck all day. That room routinely gets CRAZY hot, even when it's not too hot out, just due to sun. I could receive packages at my old job, here I can not.

One year on the 18th sounds in to me! :thumbs: As far as passing, maybe some of the FOGs can give us summer passing pointers. I think too, we should keep it in geographic order to ensure a smooth, delay free pass this way they are not bouncing all over the place.

Congrats on all the nuptuals :thumbs: , I got married last year May 28th.

A couple thoughts from my experiences ... Hold off on running a Pass during he summer months. As far as cigars at the wedding go, I had a box of RASCC and a box of AF Cuban Belicoso's, everyone really enjoyed the smokes.

Damn, I was afraid of the summer heat thing. Even with something like a Tuppedor and humidifier? Or does the heat affect that too (newbie question) I'm willing to donate the humidifer.

IN the tupperdor with humidifier, the temps would still get well into the unsafe 70's, 80's and maybe even higher. At those temps, you are just begging for active beetle problems.

As for a bomb, I imagine the problem is the same, just possibly lessened becasue it is only for a few days. Still likely iffy. I segregate any summer-received smokes in a sepereate humi for a few weeks before putting them in my main humis.
