AI getting out of control?

It seems the past two years (even just the past 6 months) AI has gone from something being talked about to some major shift in consciousness. Now that its intelligence level is so high, it will only improve upon itself that much faster. Interesting to think some of the things we're about to see be invented.

On the flip side, it seems to be turning a lot of humans into hybrids, and separating us even more (those who remain grounded vs those living a different AI world).

There is more to these things than just a programming language using "if/then" statements. Some of the stuff they post is bizarre. Practically anyone can install an LLM and launch their own "agents".

Easy for us Gen X or Gen Y peeps. The big issue I'm seeing with Boomer parents, is this will just make them being tech savvy, that much more difficult.

I have a friend, Chuck, who is a big burly rough guy and we were in Pittsburgh for a Steeler night game. We were in the bar and one of our buddies took a picture of him and a picture of another one of our buddies. He then made a video of the two of them kissing in the bar. You couldn't tell unless you looked really close at little things like foot position etc.

And as someone else said, what we can do on our phone is lightyears from what can be done.
