Al Lewis Dies at 95

Greetings! I enjoyed Al Lewis' work very much. He was a very funny man. In the late 1920's, he worked as a circus performer. He earned a Ph.D in child psychology from Columbia University. He taught school and wrote two children's books. He later followed a friend's advice, and became an actor. Mr. Lewis will be missed. Regards, knightlaird

What a great guy! TFF as Grandpa playing opposite Fred Gwynne. He will surely be missed. Al was one of a kind.
