Alec Bradley launches the First Cigar into Space.

That's awesome, I was actually at the party they threw for IPCPR that night, on that very rooftop suite and at the Rain bar. Great party, didn't realize they had "launched" the cigars that morning.
 
That's a cool concept.  Great video watching it go up and seeing the changes in the earth.
 
I'm not certain I understand the relevance of sending a cigar up tied to a weather balloon, but I do like some of their cigars.
