I tried to log in to Amazon and I was prompted with a perfect looking login screen. I started typing but thought I would double check it just cause I am anal.

It was amazonln.com and not Amazon.com I almost got caught.

I think it has already been fixed but better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the heads up! Did you mistype the address or was it a link or something?

Scams get more and more sophisticated every day unfortunately. :(

I "goggled" amazon and clicked on the top link which said "Amazon.com" I didn't notice until I looked closer that it directed me to Amazonln.com

That was a good catch! I only use their app, but who knows what's susceptible these days.

My company sent out that our networks have been seeing unprecedented attacks and DDos attempts and required us all to change our passwords.. 16 character minimum now.. double what it was.

Jeff, you may even want to check your browser. Normally Google wouldn't ever have a spoof at the top of their results. It's said Russian hackers are probing hard for their annual Victory celebration.

Might want to runs some scans to make sure your browser isn't hijacked. Similar thing happened to my boss, she googled "chase" instead of just going to chase dot com. Top result was a spoof site and she didn't realize until she entered her username and pw multiple times trying to sign in. Thankfully I was able to lock her account quickly before anything happened.

They're running it off Let's Encrypt.. which wouldn't validate a behemoth like Amazon.

How do you scan to see if your browser is hijacked? I can run all kinds of malware scans and virus scans.

Interesting finds. I googled it from both safari and chrome on my phone and both are fine. Though they pull right to the app when you click them anyway.

I’ll have to check the pc and tablet later.
