On this beautiful London day, I went to JJ Foxs and noticed a Habanos Size Guide poster. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the poster is made by a UK Company. Go under the featured printed work section to find the aforementioned poster.

My question is as follows: While knowing that the production for the poster was ordered by Habanos SA, but made in the UK, should I run into any problems bringing it back with me to the States?

Well, it justs make me wonder a little bit because the poster does say "hecho en cuba." To the normal inspector that might look incriminating and the purchase of the poster does benefit a Cuban company. It is a really rare situation to ever be checked or for the person checking the bags to actually care but I've had my bags checked before. Maybe this is one of those situations where you circumvent the letter of the law.

I can’t say I'm too familiar with going through customs but I would imagine that someone who inspects people all day every day isn’t necessarily concerned with an ~8$ poster regardless of what may be on it. I’d imagine there looking for something like alcohol, cigars, souvenirs, drugs, anything worth a substantial value or that could be potentially dangerous/hazardous.

I would not think so, as it is made in the u.k. and not cuba.

Technically, items which come from a company that has dealings with the Gov't(in turn Habano S.A.)....are prohibited.

If it was gifted to you, that may be another story! :whistling:

I know there are some linkys on threads that point this out.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. I will have to do a better search for more information. Gifts, hmmmm.....
