Here is a formal apology to Cigarpass as a whole. I retract my pervious statements about members of this board I had made. I am fully aware some of you may choose to still be upset with me, as that is your right, but please accept my humble apology. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong...and I was wrong

That is a quote that I read somewhere..I think it is a Ray Bradbury quote (i could be wrong)...I was speaking in Literary metaphor...no one "antagonized" me at all

I was referring to myself as an antagonist..it was a small attempt at self effacing humour.

and as far as Lee goes...I am sure I could have said something as simple as "I like peaches" and I am sure he would have found some way to take it the wrong way after our chat yesterday, so I can't blame him.

the joke about "sending you cigars" was more of a peace offering than anything..sorry...cooler heads hopefully have prevailed.

Matty, I think I know what your problem is. In person I, like you probably, am considered a very funny guy. I've noticed however that when this keyboard gets in between my audience and me my humor is misunderstood as something less than funny. There is no immediate feedback, no visual clues as to how the persons you are attempting to communicate with are responding.. So, I’m trying not to be a humorist on the internet. There simply are too many variables that I cannot perceive and control. So my advice is stop tiring to be funny especially by using arcane literary references.

I agree with you Doc. A lot of things get misunderstood on the Internet from a lack of visual and audio cues one would normally have. For instance, I thought that Matt was going to send out a few apology cigars to those he offended while CC thought he was cracking a joke at their expense. Had we been able to hear the tone of his voice or see his facial expression, it would have been clear which one he was trying to do.

I have to say Matyy in person is one of the best BOTL's i have met.

I have been to Vegas 2 times and evertime i have been out there he always manages to re-arrange his schedules so he can come and hang out with a fellow BOTL. And the last time he even brought along a crew to herf with.
