I agree with you Doc. A lot of things get misunderstood on the Internet from a lack of visual and audio cues one would normally have. For instance, I thought that Matt was going to send out a few apology cigars to those he offended while CC thought he was cracking a joke at their expense. Had we been able to hear the tone of his voice or see his facial expression, it would have been clear which one he was trying to do.

Nothing would be more offensive than 'apology cigars'. I wouldn't be a part of any board where a FOG accepted them. It would mean that material was valued over character, that you could be any kind of a-hole and get back in good graces by bribing. And it would mean that if some old guy needed more cigars he could just jump some ignorant newbie.

Either one of those would corrupt a community and not something I see happening here.

If you feel some debt to the members of this board, Matty, then pay it with respect, as it seems you are trying-though I could be wrong. Re(again) spect(seeing) means take another look and adjust how you carry yourself accordingly.

Matty is a hell of a BOTL, I think his traslations get lost on the screen. No reason to change your personality cause people can't see you. After awhile they will learn how you are. Why be fake and not be a funny guy?

Uh...sorry Hale but coming from you, this really doesn't mean jack. I believe you were also making comments in the same thread that Matty was about something that happened before you were even here.
 
nope i was here, and I'm part of this community right? And anyway how is my post offensive or anything. Just don't understand why someone would be fake cause it might upset one of the head guys. Whom ever people seem to think they are.

I made a comment about a post of how a guy had to change the way he post cause people didn't understand him. Well I have been on several boards and over time people learn who you are and how to take you. So just be yourself. You guys are really starting to make this a not so fun place to hang out.

Well your spelling and punctuation proves otherwise:

1. No such word as "alot" (try "a lot")
2. No such word as "thats" (try "that is" or "that's")
3. You put a period after "be" when it should have been a comma, "That's who" is not a complete sentence by itself.
4. You did use a perios after "who"

When you express yourself like a moron, chances are you be treated like one.....

1. Please capitalize "Oh."
2. A comma after "oh" would be much better than no comma at all.
3. Your period after "now" should be a comma.
4. You forgot the period after "perfect" like you did in your previous post. Periods belong at the END of sentences, not in the middle of them. :laugh:
 
Why does it seem no one wants to let the other person have the last statement? I understand that everyone here has a vested interest in Cigarpass, no matter if it is different than someone else. But why is it everyone else has to read the jibber jabber? Why is it that people can't PM someone first, to ask them to clarify what they said? Cigarpass is turning into a fu(kin soap opera.
