Well, with Ohio St. now out of the title picture, and Michigan St. does not have a tough enough schedule to warrant a trip to the NC game, so the Big Ten is playing for a Rose bowl trip.
Oregon will be the new #1 in polls . . . but USC looked good yesterday, and I'm sure they haven't forgotten the run-the-score-up spanking Oregon handed them last season, and would love to derail Oregon's NC hopes at home in LA.
Boise and TCU should cruise through their remaining schedules.
Oklahoma should have no problem with an undefeated Missouri, so it will be interesting to see if Nebraska can rebound and pull an upset there later this season.
. . . I think people are ready this season to give a non-AQ a shot at the title. Put Boise in against Oklahoma, a 1-loss SEC team (assuming Auburn doesn't run the table), etc. and see what happens. If Boise wins, then some non-AQ's can be legit. If they get curb-stomped, then the debate is over. No more non-AQ's. I think the voters in the polls want this issue resolved once and for all, and with there being no dominant team this year, it might be the year to do it.
